Well you just don’t know how nice it is to see beans until you’ve had pastures without them.  Today is a good day – we are getting back in the alpaca bean business!

The diarrhea that we’ve had seems to be lasting each alpaca about three to four days.  Although it wasn’t just pouring out, it was a mess for the heavier fleeced ones.  A quick washing of the hind end seemed to clear up that mess.  I am praying that the diarrhea won’t spread to everyone out there.  I have ordered more MSE and now I am making sure that I carry peptobismol all the time.  I have also ordered some bio-sponge as I have been told that it works well for diarrhea.

So, here’s to good beans in the pasture!
